Liquid Church

Liquid is a casual, contemporary Christian church that exists to lead our generation into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  As a "high-definition" church, we focus on bringing God into crystal-clear focus for folks who are far from Him.

Why the name "Liquid"?

We believe NJ is one of the most spiritually thirsty regions in the world.  Only 20 miles from the heart of NYC, we live in one the most densely populated-- and spiritually disconnected-- areas of our country.

Liquid Church provides spiritual refreshment & filling for thirsty people-- Jesus promised that "streams of living water" would flow from anyone who believes in him (John 7:38).

So dive on in!  Our "fluid" approach to contemporary faith is the cure for sterile, institutionalized religion.

Never been to church?  No problem, you'll fit right in.  Returning after some time away?  Welcome home.  Liquid embraces folks with no church experience and those from any denomination or faith - Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Episcopalian, Jewish, Buddhist, etc-- some discovering, for the first time, what an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ is truly like.

Together, we dive into the Bible and aren't afraid to explore the hard questions of life, and what it is to experience "life to the full"… rather than dead religion, endless ritual, and mind-numbing "churchianity.”

Will I understand what's going on - the message, the music - even if I don't know much about the Bible?

Our messages are designed to be culturally relevant, cutting edge, and speak to wherever you are in your journey of faith. We often blend our study of the timeless truths of the Bible with current events, movie clips, and use the "stories of our lives” to learn about God&rsquos rescue mission for the world He created.

Movie clips? In a church?

Yeah! Not only is our Lead Pastor a movie nut, but we believe that "art at its best” helps open our eyes to great insights about the human condition. The visual slices of life we examine are the real and uncensored stuff of life, and are creatively used to "till the soil” of our hearts, so that the Word of God can be richly planted there.

Is there something for the kids?

Liquid has a dynamic program for children, nursery through age 12, called "Liquid Kids” during the 10:30 AM and 4 PM services (see "Something for the Kids"). While parents are participating in the worship service in the main sanctuary, kids can have fun and learn about God in a highly interactive and creative environment. We meet them "where they're at” too, and love introducing children to the love of Jesus in experiential ways!

Attending Sunday services is a good start, but we hope you"ll move beyond being just a part of the weekend crowd. You can grow your faith, develop close friends, and learn more about life as a Christ-follower by joining a Small Group or serving in our church in an area you&rsquore passionate about or gifted in.

Great!  We have 3 identical services every Sunday at 10:30 AM | 4:00 PM | 6:30 PM.  Park at the Headquarter's Plaza (it's free & we'll validate your ticket!) 

When you enter the Hyatt, one of our hosts will welcome you and help you find your way around. Check-out the latest events and "goings on” at the Welcome Center outside the main ballroom.

After the service, be sure to say hi to Pastor Tim and grab coffee with new friends in the lobby where everyone mills about.  See you this weekend!
